Our Ethos

We host only a small handful of weddings each season, allowing us to offer a truly personal experience from the moment you enquire through to the day itself. We take the time to understand you, your vision and what matters most, making sure there’s a genuine alignment between you and the venue before you book.

With extensive experience in hosting and delivering weddings, we’re here to guide you through the planning process, offer dedicated 1:1 support and be hands-on when it matters most. Our aim is simple: to make the whole experience feel calm, considered and well supported, while creating a wedding day that feels entirely your own.

Hidden Acres offers everything you need to create your wedding, all in one place, including accommodation, guest camping, parking, a marquee, equipment, styling and an experienced coordinator. We operate on a simple flat-rate fee. You’re welcome to bring your own alcohol at no extra charge, hire a third-party bar, arrange your own catering and stay onsite, The house is included within the flat-rate fee, along with guest camping and so much more.

We operate from May through to the first week of September. We’ve designed Hidden Acres to make things as straightforward and flexible as possible, giving you the freedom to create a wedding that feels completely personal to you, without unnecessary complications or restrictions.

Marquee

Our brand-new 9M by 21M marquee is designed to showcase the beauty of the countryside with full panoramic sides that offer breathtaking rural views. Spacious enough to host up to 120 day guests and 150 night guests. More guests can be accommodated, subject to terms.

The marquee comes fully equipped at no extra cost, including: Ivory lining, dance floor, corkage free BYOB bar, carpet, festoon lighting, fairy lights, limewash chiavari chairs, rustic wooden trestle tables, a stock tent, and more!

The panoramic sides of the marquee can be lifted on warmer days to make the most of the fresh air and countryside views, or kept down to provide shelter from the rain.

Farmhouse

You’ll enjoy exclusive access to our large farmhouse for three days, with accommodation for up to 14 guests, plus a few extra spots on the sofas! ;)

The farmhouse features a fully stocked kitchen, two living rooms, a conservatory, patio, six bedrooms and four bathrooms. With three spacious master bedrooms.

Located just 10 metres from the ceremony and marquee lawn, the farmhouse offers the perfect retreat for loved ones or anyone who needs a quiet moment away from the celebrations. And, of course, you’ll love being able to sneak a peek at your guests arriving from the farmhouse windows!

You can enjoy the best of both worlds, a comfortable place to stay and unwind, while still being right at the heart of the action.

Gatehouse

Upon arrival, your guests are welcomed by our Grade II listed gatehouse, adorned with colourful bunting and festoon lighting to lead the way. In the summer, it’s framed by lush greenery and blooming hydrangeas, creating a magical, photo-worthy first impression.

As they make their way through, they’ll catch their first glimpse of the farmhouse, with signs guiding them through the beautifully maintained gardens.

As daylight fades, we place up-lighters, and decorative lighting to the barn and surrounding grounds. Creating a warm, fun and exciting evening atmosphere.

Ceremony

The garden path leads guests through to the ceremony and marquee lawn, a gorgeous, expansive open space with panoramic views across the surrounding countryside and woodland. The beautifully manicured lawn provides a stunning setting for your ceremony, with everything thoughtfully taken care of. We provide all ceremony chairs, along with a speaker and microphone, and a dedicated sound engineer is on hand to manage the audio and ensure excellent sound quality throughout. Should the weather take a turn, there are flexible options. Your ceremony can be moved beneath the marquee, or we can pre-plan a second stretch tent, subject to hire/fees, allowing you to create separate spaces for your ceremony and celebrations. Clear umbrellas and blankets are also provided for guests if needed. Following the ceremony, guests can enjoy alfresco drinks, lawn games and time to relax, wander and take in the idyllic surroundings.

Camping

Included in our flat-rate fee are three bell tents, left empty for guests to bring their own air mattresses and bedding. The garden also offers space for additional tents, alongside accommodation in the farmhouse. You’ll also have access to our styling and props shed, brimming with decorative treasures, from rugs, cushions, lanterns and antique furniture to lounge areas, lawn games, and so much more. Our dedicated coordinator and team will thoughtfully set everything out.
